🦧 Is Toyota Yaris A Good Car Reddit
If you sell a slow boring car, especially in America where most driving is done at highway speeds, offering a manual doesn't make people want to now buy your slow boring car. But the sales numbers say there was a bunch of manuals left on the lot so away that option goes. 883 votes, 257 comments. 5.5M subscribers in the cars community. r/Cars is
If you test drive it and like the way it handles and the lowish hp is fine, its a great value! Loaded with safety tech, Bluetooth, 7 in screen, alloy wheels, damn good suspension and almost hybrid like gas mileage I would say so. Nothing really better brand new. Not to mention if it is new, you get 2 years free maintenance from toyota. This
Especially for a first car and why is it better ? (Oh and if relevant I’m specifically referring to Toyota Yaris and Volkswagen polo) Yaris is almost definitely a better value. Maintenance and repairs are MUCH cheaper and more widely available for it, it's a cheaper vehicle with a great track record.
The story of the GR Yaris road car project going coming to a head stemmed from the WRC regulations being scrapped (which the GR Yaris was designed for) and the FIA shifted towards the upcoming Rally1 regulations instead. Toyota was burned because they badly wanted to race this engine (and also that amazing chassis) in WRC.
Yaris are unbelievable. Dad had one for 20 years and only replaced it with my mk2 when I was changing. 2 yaris with combined 29 years of ownership - never had any trouble. I'd recommend buying some extra bright bulbs for headlights as they are a bit crap depending on where you drive.
It's Yaris in name only. 11. BlueInq • 2 yr. ago. If you are thinking of seeing a psychiatrist please bear in mind that they are bloody expensive too. Many of them will charge well over £200/hour. A Yaris GR is probably better value pound for pound than a psychiatrist. 31. 1. L003Tr • 2 yr. ago.
I'm choosing between A 2013 Yaris 1.5 hybrid with one year guarantee for 9000 euro and a brand new Aygo for 12000 euro. Both automatic. The insurance costs are higher for the Yaris somehow .. donno why! Both has the same features .. I'm only concerned about the yaris battery and the re-sell value.
So awesome! Too bad it's not available in North America, we don't get the nice things. I'm due for an upgrade. My 2007 Yaris is nearing 300K and I'm not sure if I should get the 2020 Yaris/Mazda2 Hatchback.
That’s the exact dilemma that I’m having. I found an ‘09 Civic manual transmission that has 72,000 miles for the same price as this 2015 Yaris. But the Civic is from a used car dealership and got in an ambiguous accident in 2011. I’m leaning towards the Yaris since it’s a private sale and I’m just getting good vibes all around
It would be hard to sell them. Get rid of the steely wheels, get some nice black 17s, and tint the windows to 30%. Should look pretty clean after that. Also delete the chrome strip on the back, remove the Toyota font and Yaris font badges, and install some OEM fog lights in the bumper. New LED headlights would make visibility better too.
Not the cheapest cheap car on the market, but it was well built, felt solid, cheap to service (the cheapest according to the AA in 2021) and had a good amount of power compared to the other cheap options. Its fuel economy might not be as good as that of the Ford Fiesta already mentioned due to the fact that its naturally aspirated, but this
The iA is stacked with features at a relatively affordable price point. It's also a subcompact, basically the entry level segment and that's why it's so cheap, not because build quality is lacking. Look at a base model yaris hatch, or a Nissan versa, or a Honda fit. They're quite a bit cheaper than compact cars like corollas and civics.
Yep my wife has one, it's a great car, though I do like to take the mick and tell her it's an old ladies car. Surprisingly spacious interior for the size of car, well made/ put together, though the interior is quite bland. Mechanically they're very reliable, and good on fuel.
First post on this forum and need some advice, Have an old beloved 2000 Toyota Tundra. I bought it from my grandfather before he passed. The accelerator died on me on the highway. The mechanic said it was a throttle body problem. - had the same problem 2 years ago with the throttle sensor and they replaced it.
Don't know much about cars, just need a daily driver for about a 10mile commute. That “Yaris” is actually a rebadged Mazda2 sedan. They’re very different cars. The Camry is large (r), more powerful, and more comfortable, the Mazda2 is small, nimble, and more fuel-efficient. Neither is likely to be a bad choice.
