đ Giro Neo Mips Helmet Review
Our Verdict. The Smith Mission MIPS is a stand-out helmet. It covers front and backcountry use in a versatile and relatively low-priced package. It's what we want in a resort helmet but at a backcountry-friendly weight. Its impressive weight, protective feature set, and price set it apart from the rest. The easy-to-carry package contains MIPS
One of my favorite Giro helmets is the Range, which is a very streamlined, contoured helmet. In contrast, the Orbit is rounder in shape, which is not the worst thing in this application. The rounder shape stems from the internal Spherical shell and MIPS, which adds not only additional safety, but also additional comfort.
The Neo MIPS helmet is the new foundation in the Giro helmet line and an instant classic. The Neo MIPS benefits from a lightweight inmold construction, and features the dialed-in fit of the In Form Fit System with Vertical Tuning. On the mountain, itâs easy to go from hot to cold, so youâll appreciate the on-the-go temperature control

Protection 5/5. The Giro Synthe MIPS helmet has roll cage reinforcement, which strengthens the integrity of the helmet structure. This means it will hold together better in the event of a crash. Our Verdict. The Giro Zone MIPS is a high-quality helmet at a lower price than our top-rated models. It's an excellent choice for the avid, if not hardcore, skier. The Zone is equipped with MIPS technology, making it demonstrably safer in the event of a direct impact. Rotational impact systems like MIPS have become the industry standard for the

Giro has been making the Montaro MIPS for a few years and it is among the most popular trail helmets on the market. Our testers liked just about everything about it, though it was outperformed by several other helmets in this review. We feel that it offers good head protection, with average coverage, a MIPS liner, and quality in-mold construction.

Pros: This helmet has a great price-to-features ratio, which makes it good for those on a budget. Itâs also versatile and works in many different conditions. The MIPS technology is nice and the fit is one of the most comfortable around.
5. An accessible MIPS model with great comfort and ventilation. A well-ventilated model with MIPS that wonât break the bank. A high-value performer with great ventilation, giving it great bang for your buck. With its low price, light weight, and great adjustability, we can overlook a few flaws in this very good helmet.

The Giro Savant is an entry-level helmet that offers good all-around performance at a low price. It lacks the pro-level feel of higher end Giro helmets like the Synthe and the Aeon, but it gets the job done. It comes in three sizes, and feels similar in fit to the Synthe. The Savant is cheaper than the Bell Overdrive MIPS, but lacks a MIPS liner.
